As a nurse myself, you can be confident that the cleaning standards at Failte Mhor are of the highest order at all times. I employ cleaning staff but I also check all rooms and communal areas daily myself.
Be assured that your room will have been thoroughly disinfected and cleaned ahead of your arrival.
During your stay, a cleaner will clean your bathroom, empty your bedroom refuse bin, open your window and attend to all the communal areas daily. They will not make your beds mid stay or touch any of your personal items.
You are respectfully requested to leave all communal spaces as you would wish to find them yourself. For example, place used dishes into the dishwasher, wipe down the worktops / table with the (food safe) anti-viral spray provided after you have prepared and eaten your meals, etc.
A thorough Coronavirus risk assessment has been performed for the property. If you would like to be furnished with a copy of this, please let me know and I can send it to you electronically.
Please do not be offended when I ask you to sanitise your hands each time you enter the property using the hand gel dispenser located by the main door. This is there for the benefit all house occupants.
Whist the cleaner is working in the property, I ask that you vacate the area to allow them to work safely and socially distanced from all guests. The cleaner works usually between 10:00 and 13:00hrs daily.
Guests occupying a communal household such as this must also take responsibility for their own health and safety and take sensible precautions in respect of observing scrupulous hand and respiratory hygiene practices as well as observing appropriate social distancing measures within the communal spaces (Lounge / Kitchen, corridors, etc).
You must report this to your host immediately and stay in your room. Do not leave your bedroom to enter any of the communal spaces under any circumstances.
You must then book yourself a test via the following web address: NHS self help guide for coronavirus testing
If the test result is negative, you may continue with your stay. If the test result is positive, you must return home immediately if your own home is located within the UK.
In the event you are travelling here from overseas, the local health authority will provide you guidance on appropriate accommodation locally for you to be housed in for your self-isolation period. Your host can provide you more information on this process.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the shared lounge and kitchen facilities, it would not be possible for you to stay on at Failte Mhor for your period of isolation unless you were the only occupants of the house at that time. In the event your stay is extended for this reason, you would be charged for the additional night's accommodation at the standard nightly rate.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask,
